Common Sense Quote by Harriet Beecher Stowe

"Common sense is the knack of seeing things as they are, and doing things as they ought to be done."

This is my answer of todays question, (1/11/09): What is yours?

Sometimes we don't see things as they are when the evidence is right in front of us. We make things harder than they really are. All of us is guilty of doing this.
To me, common sense is a simple matter at hand. It's like a light bulb flashing above us saying "Hey, don't you see how this works?" or "Why don't you see the truth?" Why do we doubt the answers to our questions? We make life situations complicated when all the more "simplicity" is before us.
I sometimes make things so hard and complicated that I want to give up on everything. The motto "Don't give Up" means nothing to me at times. I quit before I try. Have you ever been guilty of that? I am sure you have.

I will make a decision to listen to my inner-voice today. The answer is staring right in front of me. I won't make life harder than it already is.
